How I Found My Way Here

Birth work has been a part of who I am for many years. I became a doula because I believe every family deserves unwavering support during life's most transformative moments. There's something sacred about being present at the threshold of new life — watching babies come earth side, supporting families in their journey as they learn to dance together as three, four, or more.

Before diving into the education provided by Bebo Mia Doula Training and Spinning Babies, you would find me bedside many of my friends and family as a support partner through their labour and deliveries. It's always where my heart has guided me to be. It burns a fire in my soul.

I can't wait to share the love, knowledge, and passion with all you beautiful families. I am rooted in a calm presence, centred in informed choices, with a deep respect for the body's wisdom. I am focused on creating a safe container where families feel seen, heard, and empowered.

My heart was tugged a little further — I will be expanding my support as families walk towards the end-of-life moments with grace and intention. Every passage deserves presence. Every transition deserves honour.

That's where the vision of Bloom & Beyond Doula Care became full spectrum. Birth, postpartum, placenta encapsulation, and eventually, end-of-life support.

I am at a season in my life where it's my time to shine and share my passion.

Beyond the Doula Work

I'm a mama myself of two incredible young men who are living their best lives, a wife of a hard-working business owner in the oil and gas world, an aunt of dozens, a great aunt of a few, and an anchor to my friends. I've walked many roads of pregnancy, labour, and postpartum transition. I know the vulnerability, the joy, the overwhelm, and the fierce love that blooms. My lived experience is woven into everything I do.

You'll find me chasing sunshine, adventure, grounding in nature, floating my way down rivers in my kayak or on my paddle board — or perhaps just chilling with my fur babies on my little acreage.

Always with a smile, a strong shoulder to lean on, an open heart to welcome all your wishes — and I'm good for a laugh or two, you'll see!

I believe in building my tribe to best serve my people.
